Brian has over 30 years’ experience in the information technology sector, with the last thirteen specialising in healthcare. Brian has held senior positions with CSC (chief architect for their national NHS contract), System C and a VP position at McKesson. He has a varied background, including system and software architecture, extensive sales experience with health care systems and has overseen many successful customer programmes. Brian has been the Chief Executive at Graphnet Health since 2015.

Dr Ian Denley  Executive Chairman

Graphnet Health’s Chairman, Ian Denley, has over 30 years’ of experience in the software industry, with the last 20 specialising in healthcare. He has considerable expertise in leading companies through various cycles of growth and exit, including early-stage funding, venture capital funding, IPO, mergers and acquisitions and trade sales.

Markus Bolton Executive Director

Director of Graphnet Health, Markus Bolton has 44 years of experience in the software industry with a specialist focus on healthcare informatics since 1993. Markus was founder and CEO of System C Healthcare from 1983 to early 2022 and has been a director and major shareholder of Graphnet since 2012. During that time Markus has been involved with many aspects of the business including strategy, growth and mergers and acquisitions.  Markus is an enthusiastic supporter of improving health and social care through data and process transformation and as part of that focus is heavily involved in Graphnet’s population health work.

Jane Conner Chief HR Officer/Company Secretary

Jane Conner is a highly motivated CIPD-qualified HR Professional with over 30 years’ of Corporate and Executive experience and a key member of the Graphnet Health senior management team. With an extensive knowledge of communication and influencing at all levels, Jane has a proven track record in strategic HR, projects, change management, employee engagement and team leadership. In her role as Chief HR Officer and Company Secretary, Jane is responsible for delivering the full range of HR services across Graphnet Health and driving effective business performance and change. 

Antony Smith Chief Finance Officer

Antony is a qualified ACMA, CGMA, with over 20 years’ of Financial Planning and Analysis experience developing, delivering, and presenting Strategic Plans, Budgets and Rolling Forecasts. He is responsible for financial stability for Graphnet Health . He has over 25 years’ experience in senior finance roles, including UK Finance Manager at McKesson for the Electronic Staff Record (NHS England HR/Payroll), Finance Director for Dr Foster and positions within the tourism and telecoms equipment industries. With a strong track record of pro-actively contributing to business performance and the operational business decision making process.
