The picture with covid in any given geographical area can change quickly. In turn, changes may need to be quickly made to which health and care services are delivered where and how, with difficult decisions to be made about prioritisation.
To be able to make informed choices about how best to manage the health of a population, there is a need for a shared understanding of which pressures and caseloads exist where. But how best to generate such an understanding? Which parties need to be involved? Which information is most important to which groups? How can worries about information governance be overcome?
This HSJ webinar, run in association with Graphnet, brought together a small panel to discuss these issues and offer reflections on building shared understanding of data.
