myCareCentric Epilepsy recognised as a leading example of how Microsoft cloud technology can improve lives

The CEO of Microsoft Corp, Satya Nadella (pictured left), was in London last week to deliver the keynote speech at the Transform Conference: The Digital Future. Reimagine. Develop. Innovate, held at Canary Wharf.
Microsoft's CEO also met with Dr Rupert Page (Chief Clinical Information Officer & consultant neurologist at Poole Hospital) and Graphnet director Ian Denley to discuss myCareCentric Epilepsy – the New Models of Care solution developed by the Epilepsy Care Alliance, a consortium of Shearwater, Graphnet, the University of Kent and Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The solution uses the Microsoft band, MS HealthVault and Azure Machine Learning to improve the lives of patients with epilepsy .
Satya used three case studies in his keynote speech to showcase innovation in the Digital Future, the first of which was myCareCentric Global recognition of Graphnet's approach to using technology to change the way people are treated is very exciting. myCareCentric Epilepsy is the basis of a whole series of solutions Graphnet plans to bring to the market, covering conditions such as heart failure, diabetes and pulmonary disease.
