Logistics Team Lead

Background: 

The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for the oversight and management of logistics day to day activities. All Logistics activities for Docobo will be run out of the Liverpool office including storage, maintenance and 
supply.
As part of this role the Logistics Team Lead will provide line management and guidance to junior members of 
the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deputise for the Head of Logistics when he/she is unavailable.
  • Work with the Head of Logistics to implement standard operating procedures and processes around
    stock management.
  • Management and recording of device stock including responding to demand, and despatch to
    customers.
  • Maintenance, updating and repair of devices as appropriate.
  • Provide line management and guidance to the logistics staff and any graduates working in that area.
  •  Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement (CSI); innovations, recommendations
    that bring efficiencies and value to our clients.
  • Make best use of systems and tools required to support logistics activities e.g. Unleashed, EMM etc.
  • Ensure teams are aware of compliance requirements and are working to required standards.
  • In addition to the above, the Logistics Team Lead is responsible for any other activities in support of
    the business which can reasonably be expected to fall within the capabilities of the employee.

The post holder must have knowledge / experience of:

Mandatory Skills and Experience
The post-holder must have the following skills and experience

  • Experience of stock management.
  • Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Creative problem solving
  • Ability to collaborate with staff at all levels and to work either as part of a team or 
    independently as required by the task at hand
  • Good documentation skills
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and Visio)
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Experience of line management
  • Experience of supporting and developing more junior staff

Desirable Skills and Experience

It is desirable for the post-holder to have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of customer billing.
  • Working knowledge of the mobile devices and networks currently used for Doc@Home
  • Working knowledge of Unleashed and EMM.
  • Continuous improvement understanding.
  • Experience of working in the healthcare sector.
  • Line Management experience.
