Graphnet Proudly Sponsors National Healthcare Information Governance Awards

08 April 2025

Graphnet is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the National Health and Care Strategic Information Governance Network (National SIGN) Awards, held last week on Friday, 4 April. We are particularly proud to have sponsored the Information Governance Team of the Year Award, which was won by the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust Information Governance Team.

The Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust Information Governance Team was recognised for their outstanding achievements, including:

  • Maintaining the Trust’s ISO 27001 certification through rigorous audits and delivering essential induction training to middle managers, encouraging strong operational relationships.
  • Successfully introducing a new case management tool, managing the project independently, and delivering high-quality results, including handling 500,000 pages of records and training executive directors.
  • Ensuring compliance with secure email standards and merging a 60,000-record library; their dedication to professional development and exceptional project management has been instrumental in their success.
  • The team’s management has led key forums, supporting the Trust in effectively meeting new Information Governance challenges.

Andrew Harvey, Graphnet’s Director of Information Governance, Cyber and Compliance, was present at the awards ceremony in Birmingham to personally present the Information Governance Team of the Year Award. Andrew created these awards in 2019 when he was Chair of the National SIGN. He expressed his admiration for the nominations and his pleasure in seeing the awards continuing to flourish six years later.

It is important to note that sponsors have no part in selecting the winners of these awards.

Graphnet congratulates all winners and nominees for their exceptional contributions to information governance in health and care.
