Population health programme receives national recognition in latest NHS policy

15 June 2022

The Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Partnership and its partner, Graphnet, are celebrating recognition for the Combined Intelligence for Population Health Action (CIPHA) project in a new NHS strategy.

CIPHA, built on Graphnet’s CareCentric population health, integration and shared record technology, has been highlighted as an exemplar case study in a new NHS strategy published this week: Data saves lives: reshaping health and social care with data.

The Strategy acknowledges how data has been at the forefront of tackling the challenges of the pandemic and the vital role it continues to play in longer-term recovery and reform. It is here that CIPHA is recognised for its:

Ground-breaking role in providing the world’s first evidence of large-scale, voluntary Covid-19 testing, which became national policy and underpins the new World Health Organization guidance.

Enablement of the first Covid-19, risk-mitigated reopening of mass gatherings in the Northern Hemisphere.
